Order of Merit Each competition awards trophies and prizes to the winners of each flight as well as the technical prizes. Order of Merit points are awarded to participants according to their placing at each tournament. These points start from the first competition to the last (a total of 5 competitions), the leading order of merit winners in their flight will win the overall series trophy.
Point system Winner 10 points 2nd place 8 points 3rd place 6 points 4th place 5 points 5th place 4 points 6th place 3 points 7th place 2 points 8th place 1 point after 8th place will get 1 point each
Rules Competitions will be played under the R&A Rules of golf. Each competitor should carry a rules of golf book Objectives The objective of the series and of BGTC is to educate young golfers the way youngsters are educated in the U.K. Europe, America and Australia. Teaching the Etiquette and rules of the game so junior golfers can play anywhere in the world using the worldwide rules of the game.
Match play In January 2010, we will be holding a Match play Tournament for the top 8 players in each flight from the order of merit standings. They will be invited to play our Inaugural 1 day Match play tournament. Invitees will be notified by e-mail.
